Thanks to great friends and neighbors, we had another successful star-raising party. This year, thanks to Del's reinforcements, there was much less drama. No folding back on itself or splintering apart. Here's a picture of the star at twilight . . .

oh my...that is beautiful! when reading the posts about the star raising event...i tried to imagine what it looked like. this is beyond my imagination...and i'm certain gives great pleasure to all that view it.
Maybe next year we will be there to help (or hinder as the case may be).
